SHU Racing’s Class 1 team principal, Ciaran Eyre, said “Carbolite Gero has shown through my industrial placement, my level 6 individual project and now Formula Student that it continually invests in students who they believe in. I am excited to be involved with Carbolite Gero through SHU-R, both David and I are perfect examples of their student investment. This partnership demonstrates just how such placement opportunities in engineering can continue to benefit both the employer and students in years to follow”.
David O’Dea, Carbolite Gero’s year in industry placement student for 2014/15 said “It’s great to have Carbolite Gero working with SHU Racing” He went on to say that he’d like to thank Carbolite Gero for their continued investment in Sheffield Hallam University students and that he is looking forwards to continuing to work closely with the business.
