Repairs / Refurbishment

The life of a furnace or oven can often be extended by replacing tired furnace/oven linings to boost performance and prolong usage.

Our refurbishment services delivers the latest thermal technology that:

International service visits

To that end our team of engineers also has no geographical limits - if you need our help, you can count on our support. In many countries Carbolite Gero employs local offices and services teams, in all other countries service is available from our UK head office.

Product Health Checks

Maintaining your equipment is essential to ensure it continues to give you the quality you expect from our solutions. We can provide a full ‘Health Check’ and recommend any remedial actions.

Fully trained authorised engineers provide detailed reports covering all critical parts following inspections that cover safety, functionality and product condition. The detailed and informative reports contain recommendations based on any failures, wear & tear or a change to your process.

Preventive Maintenance Packages

Our preventative maintenance programs reduce furnace downtime, lost income and repair bills that result from improper equipment maintenance and premature failure.

UK Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) Agreements include services that optimise your equipment’s performance and extend its life. With pre-determined maintenance costs these never catch you off-guard and give you peace of mind. Fix your service prices for up to 3 years, with packages for all budgets and requirements.

Calibration

Regular thermal calibration can be critical to your process, product security and customer satisfaction. We are fully equipped to provide calibration using equipment which is traceable to national standards. Carbolite Gero is itself a UKAS accredited calibration laboratory, Laboratory No. 10749 for thermal calibration to IEC/ISO 17025:2017. (Click on the UKAS logo to see the official credential)

A calibration service contract can consist of:

periodic single or multiple point temperature measurement systems
temperature uniformity surveys to local, national or AMS2750 standard

Services include:

provision of reports/certificates
automatic reminders for thermal calibration (at intervals requested by you)
